Kocoatrait was launched in 2019 in Amsterdam at Chocoa which is a fine chocolate exhibition. Kocoatrait is conceived by L Nitin Chordia, India’s 1st certified chocolate taster and Poonam Chordia, India’s 1st certified female chocolate taster. Poonam Chordia & L Nitin Chordia have set their goals with a clear intention of causing less harm to the planet while sustainably making single origin bean to bar chocolates in India using only Indian ingredients. We keenly track and follow the UN sustainable development goals model and contribute to the circular economy in India. Nitin operates Cocoashala, India’s premier Bean to Bar chocolate making institute, which helps you discover the magic of making chocolate from Bean to Bar and offers international certification programs. Nitin also leads Cocoatrait which is an initiative to promote awareness and consumption of fine chocolates in India.
